These exercises are designed for nursing, medical, and pharmacy students to practice
identifying hidden allergens in medication ingredients using the ScanYourMeds Academic scanner.
For each scenario:
- Read the patient story.
- Select Allergens, if known.
- Go to the Scan Medications page in the sidebar.
- Scan the medication(s) mentioned.
- Compare the ingredients to the patient’s known or suspected allergens.
- Answer the questions and be ready to discuss your reasoning.
