Patient: Mr. D., 63 years old
Mr. D has a documented fish allergy. He is considering taking
an over-the-counter supplement and has been prescribed another medication
that may contain fish-derived ingredients.
Student Tasks:
- Add fish as an allergen if not already selected.
- Scan the prescribed medication and the supplement (if available in the system).
- Review ingredients for fish oil, cod liver oil, or other fish-derived excipients.
- Explain your recommendations to Mr. D regarding which products to avoid.
